Character Strengths are the positive parts of your personality that impact how you think, feel and behave. Scientists have identified 24 Character Strengths that everyone has the capacity to express.


At MKM we offer a series of 5 workshops for older primary children to discover their individual Character Strengths profile and how you can use this knowledge to support their own wellbeing.


By focusing on our Character Strengths we can better understand ourselves and others around us. These workshops operate during the school term through the Mfacts Studio.

Each week the kids will work through tasks that help them to understand their personalities and build inner confidence. All children can benefit from having a deeper understanding of their personality, what makes them tick and how they can use this knowledge to build positive relationships and wellbeing.

Peaceful Kids

Peaceful Kids is an eight-week Mindfulness and Positive Psychology program which aims to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children from Prep through to Year 12. The program helps children to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day- to-day stresses that life brings them. Peaceful Kids was created by Georgina Manning who is the director of Wellbeing for Kids.


As a licenced facilitator of the program MKM has a wonderful opportunity to share something that I love and enjoy with others and to demonstrate the benefits of mindfulness and the positive impact on general mental health and wellbeing. The program operates during the Term at the Mfacts Studio in Hampton.

Peaceful Kids Chill Out!

Exclusively for children who have participated previously in the Peaceful Kids program. 

These sessions operate once a month and during school holidays. They are an opportunity for past students to catch up and refresh on the exculsive content and knowledge that they gained during the Peaceful Kids program. 

Sessions run for 90 minutes.

School Holiday Workshops

Mindful Kids Melbourne offers a variety of school holiday workshops during the term breaks. All workshops are based on Positive Psychology strategies for primary aged children through to high school students.


These workshops held in the holidays are a great opportunity to have a taster into what Mindful Kids is all about or even for past students to refresh strategies that they have learnt in previous programs. 

This April Holidays the workshop theme is Wellbeing , Growth Mindset and Resilience.

Back Term 4, 2022
Super 7- Transition to Year 7

Starting high school is usually a time filled with mixed emotions. Nervous excitement, the fear or challenge of the unknown are all part of the next step in children's learning journey.


This program consists of 8 workshops in total. Each Term 4 MKM hosts a 4 weekly workshops aimed at supporting future year 7 students transition into high school. The next stage of the workshop takes place in January with 1 workshop prior to the commencement of the new school year. 3 follow up workshops then take place in Term 1. 


The workshop discusses mindfulness, growth mindset and resilience strategies to support problem solving skills and over all positive mental health and wellbeing. Bookings are now open!

Flow Club

Come and find your flow at MKM!  Flow club is a weekly session where primary aged children can come and relax with mindfulness activities to recover and find their flow after a busy week at school. 

The aim of these sessions is to introduce children to mindfulness concepts and to allow them to relax and find their flow through mindful play in a small group environment. Activities include:

Mighty Minds is all about making our minds strong, determined and resilient. 


These 5 workshops are designed for junior to middle primary children. In these sessions children will discover strategies that build growth mindset, grit, resileince and problem solving skills to support their own wellbeing. 


Developing a growth mindset and ability to bounce back when difficulties arrise is a important life skill. Through the Might Minds workshops children will discover they have the abiltiy to work through mistakes and challanges to support their growth and development.

Full Circle is a program that supports grief and loss in primary aged children. 


These 5 workshops are designed support children who have experienced a death in the family or loss through relationship breakdowns.

Mindful Kids at Schools

Mindful Kids Melbourne is available to provide workshops in Melbourne Primary and Secondary schools. Peaceful Kids and Peaceful Parents programs are available to be operated on site at your school.


Introduction to Mindfulness and Character Strength workshops are also available. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn about mindfulness, problem solving skills, resilience and wellbeing in their schools environment.
